Networking With Heart: Thriving as a Woman in Business

I’m thrilled to serve as this year’s Programs Director for Women’s Leadership Connection (WLC)! We kicked off with a fantastic October panel, Finding Harmony in the Hustle, exploring work-life balance strategies.

Next up, I’m excited to announce our February program, Networking with Heart: Thriving as a Woman in Business, featuring the inspiring Arin Fugate, Founder and CEO of Elevated Networking Society.

It will be held on February 27th at Lithia Headquarters at 150 N Bartlett St, Medford, OR 97501 (4th Floor) from 6–8 pm. The price for admission is $15 for students and $30 for a general audience. We will be sharing charcuterie boards by Gourmet Hostess, with wine and non-alcoholic beverages included.

Networking was the #1 topic you requested in our survey, and many of you shared that it can feel awkward or challenging. This session is designed to help you approach networking authentically and confidently.

Here’s a sneak peek with a Q&A with Arin:

Sandra: Arin, why do you think networking as a topic resonates so strongly with women everywhere?

Arin: Networking is something all business owners know they should do. However, many business owners, especially women, find traditional networking to be cold, overly transactional, and lacking true connection. Most women love connecting with and supporting other women, so when we reframe what networking can look like, it becomes exciting and enjoyable!

Sandra: Can you give us a preview of your session and key takeaways we can expect?

Arin: Yes! In my session, we’re going to explore how to make networking work for us in a way that aligns with our personalities. We’ll go over tangible practices to commit to and engage in regular networking, along with mindsets that support the energy of true connection. By the end of our time together, I hope you will feel excited and empowered to get out into your community and network!

Thank you, Arin! We can’t wait to learn from your insights.

Join us on Thursday, February 27th, from 6–8 pm at Lithia’s Headquarters for this special event! Seats are limited, so register here to secure your spot for this impactful February program.

Note: Event registration is managed through SOU’s system. To register, you’ll be redirected to their page, where you’ll need to create a login if you don’t already have one.

See you there!

Warmly,

Sandra Colley
